Hi folks,

Want to slightly adjust the striker on the B pillar, for driver's door. Can I completely remove the 2 striker screws without the retaining plate inside the pillar falling down?

No, just loosen it a turn or two. Check your door gaps though because it's more likely the door or the latch that needs adjusting than the striker.
