Hi is there by any chance a way to get my hands on a new exhaust manifold for my polo 86c ? (1984) Are there any manifolds from other engines that fit?

It’ll depend on the engine you have as to what manifold it has fitted.

I think I have figured now ..

@mk2tastic I am just generally curious, does a 6n stainless manifold fit the polo 86c, looks exactly the same 

First picture fits Exhaust Manifold - Volkswagen Polo 86C / 6N 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.3 G40 - 1975-1999 

Second picture fits VW Polo 6N MK4 1.1l - 1.6l 8V 1994-2000

 

 

It's a guess, but I'd think that a 6n one would be "taller" in the height of the downpipes. No science to back that up though. 

ok! probaly, depending on what engine type it is also. The 6n polos comes in 1.0 - 1.6 or smth if Im right.
