Hi all

Had my mk2f (mk3) since 2012 as my daily driver and it's been on the road since then apart from once.

And never flooded. Apart from once which I think is why it's disintegrating underneath. I knew it was gonna fail the mot on a small patch so I thought I'd just wait for it to run out and then sort it out. I took it to the local garage just to have a look underneath so he could show me where the hole was.....

Well there turned out to be several new holes along both sills and floor. So looks like I'm gonna get a lot of welding practice.
