2006 VW Polo 1.2 PCV valve + crush washer

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

I have a 2006 1.2 Polo, 55hp, with the BMD engine code.. 97k miles if relevant

At the minute it's burning oil at a rate of knots, currently my theory is the PCV/crankcase breather valve is gone, as there's a light film of oil building up on the outside of it - I was wondering if anyone knew the part number for this? I've tried to find out to no avail, and the local VW dealership isn't getting back to me

Incidentally, if anyone also knows the oil sump plug crush washer dimensions that would be super handy! I've been a bit naughty and reused the old one last time, I'd really rather get a new one

TIA!

Put part number in without spaces, hit find and it'll tell you if there's a newer version;  And if that one has itself been superseded etc.
