I’ve a number of projects planned for my 9n3 (1.4 Match 80 Auto) and this forum is a wealth of Information.

I haven’t found much on parking sensors, let alone OEM ones. I would like to do an OEM parking sensor refit.

From my search of google, I have found wiring diagrams and a couple of photo’s of what I believe to be OEM parking sensors.

 

What I’d like to get to is

1.    List of Parts required for Retrofit
2.    Is coding required (if so what)
3.    Details of where the parts go

Does anyone have a 9N3 with OEM parking sensors? Are you able to take a few pictures to show the wiring (specifically the boot connection and the PDC unit located in the boot)

Hello JASHAW30, I to have looked into this from what I have gathered so far kufatec do two harnesses that you can buy. These are oem and they I believe connect to a parking module you can buy from ebay or a breakers. 9n3 rear bumpers come prepped from the factory for parking sensors. So when you remove the rear bumpers there should already be markings for the sensors. Sensors themselves you can buy from somewhere like autodoc. I imagine the module would need to be vcds to the car so that the ecu recognises it. Apologies if this is stuff you already knew. Good luck 👍 

For anyone wanting to try this, i've published a YouTube video documenting the whole process, Kufatec sell all the necessary looms although as i did in the video, you can bifurcate a loom from a car in the breakers etc.
