Hello everyone. My name is Ercan and I have a 6n since 2008. In that time I learned a lot from this site. So thank you all for that.

 

Now I need an information I couldn't find in old topics. I'm trying to change my manual mirrors with electrical/heated ones. I got the mirrors, switch and wiring diagrams. But I can't find wirings, so I have to connect them by myself. And the problem is I can't understand which pin on diagram equals on my switch. Which pin is pin 1/2/3 etc.

 

Do you know something about this? I hope you do. 🙂

Hi, I'm modifing my car from manual to electric mirror, the problem is that I haven't the electric wiring scheme and I don't know how to connect correctly all pin of the rear mirror switch. It has 8 pins and I think  I found at least 6 pins... Can some one tell me all 8 pins where to connect?

And can share whit me the picture of complete wiring diagram? P.s. I seen that @an_old_polo share the the picture but it is incomplete....

Which year is your polo?

I have the original current flow diagram in english language here for the 6N polo with the older centralelectric.

English language, but i guess its just translated, not specially for the left hand drive polo...

pin 6 from the switch goes to ignition, on older centralelektrik to the green distributor behind your centralelectricbox and on the newer centralelectricbox also to ignition, but dunno which connector.

Based on your mirror switch part number you are probably looking for an older schematic. (This one was used from May of 1997)
