Need a little assistance wiring in a lock unlock switch after removing wiring.

 

Long story short, i've removed everything door wise not thinking I will want to put a switch back in. Found a polo centre console lock unlock switch to replace the original door mounted one. However now I have no reference as to where the wires run to.

 

Anyone able to assist?

 

6N2 GTi with alarm and central locking.

There will be no wiring diagrams as the 6N2 never had a single locking switch in the centre console, so without knowing the contact arrangement in this new switch can't even tell you how to cobble the wiring together 

Looks like it works the same way as the one of the handle, except it only uses 4 wires instead of 5. Part number for this switch is for 6N2. 

 

Dash light/led

Earth which earth's the circuit too.

Then 2 more which I can't isolate. 

 

I'm assuming the extra ground on the 5 pin will be for LED.

 

Since I've removed the wiring back from the door plugs, can't remember which wire colours I need for door lock status, or where they even ran to. Was it the CCM?

 

Any assistance will be great please.

That picture provides no useful info, need to know the switching contact layout, SPST, SPDT, DPST, DPDT ?

Found some more info, so the switch I have is for polo classic variant. The switch is E150 on this page.

 

 

I'm no longer running a vacuum pump, wiring has been stripped back and i've replaced it with a double relay to trigger a reverse polarity solenoid.

 

When it says pin 4, is that the ECU or CCM?

If you have stripped out the original vacuum pump & wiring, how on earth can you expect people to second guess what connections you need to make to wiring that isn't standard 

So after searching around the signal goes to the vacuum pump regardless, and other wire is terminal 4, which is a live.

 

So I've come to the conclusion of installing an arduino to replicate that single output wire from the switch, to then split it out to the relays for lock and unlock.
