6N AER Vacuum Line Elbow

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've noticed a cracked elbow on one of my vacuum lines, it's the one that connects the air filter housing to the air intake on the inner wing (see below image). I can't seem to find a part number for it. If anyone happens to know the part number I'd be very appreciative as it would save me the, now rather expensive, round trip to my "local" dealership and back.

Thanks in advance,

Jack

Hi Nige,

I'd found that, only thing I'm not sure of is if I bought the hose whether the elbow would be on the end of it, I can see myself having a lovely new vacuum hose and still no elbow 😃

Might ask my dealership over the phone tomorrow if I can get hold of them.

Thanks for your help.

Not wanting to buy the entire hose ~£50 from VW I took a punt on another part that looked about right.

It's not perfect but it's a pretty close match and has stayed on for the last several months of driving.
