Hi all, name's Andrew. Thought I'd introduce myself as I've just joined, but been meaning to join for about 15 years! The daily drive is a 2016 6c GTI, but also have 1993 2f G40 (project) and a 1988 T25 Camper. Had a 1993 2f Polo Genesis 1.3, that I stupidly cut into bits and ransacked for the G40 project many years ago. Also had a 1990 breadvan that I shouldn't have got rid of, and a (cough), Toyota Aygo. 

 

The G40 was bought in 2013 running, then sat around for too long, but was stored well. Then moved to a house with garage about 5 years ago and made a start on the project. But then life happened and the project paused. Anyway, been given the ultimatum to get it done now and glad for the kick up the a$#@! The idea is to keep it pretty much original, with a few minor improvements. So, after seeing the club stand at Stanford Hall last weekend, it reminded me to join the club instead of lurking in the background! I'll need your knowledge! 

 

Hope to see you at some shows this year and properly introduce myself. Gotta keep these oldies on the road!

Thanks for the advice nige8021, I'll get some pictures together and start a thread. Still new to this forum game and getting back into Polo life!
