Hi guys, just got the polo back from the MOT today and it failed due to the rear fog light not working. It appears that there is also no light on the button when you switch it "on". 

I've checked the bulb, connection to the button and the fuse box (fuse 12 is it?). Not sure what else to try.

Any ideas are much appreciated, thanks guys 👍

If the wiring, bulb and fuse are fine then its likely the switch. You can pull the whole switch out and dismantle it to look at the contacts - a couple of mine were a bit grotty for some reason when i bought it but a quick clean with some fine emery cloth made a nice contact again.
