So I brought some 9n3 rear lights for my 9n, I’m lazy so brought the adaptors ( pins are pretty jammed anyway) but the passenger side works perfectly, but the drivers side break light is dim ( too bulb) and the side light is also on the top bulb very bright. I’ll link a video showing the issue. What’s the problem? The adaptors are right way round, is this a bulb issue or a wiring issue?

Looking at the video, it looks like a wiring issue. Looks like the feed wire for each filament function is round the wrong way. Meaning when you have no lights on and are braking, the dimmer filament (the side light) is on, and then when you put the side lights on, the brighter filament (the brake light) is on. Meaning when you have your lights on you will always look like you're braking and you'll have no difference in rear lighting under braking. Do the lights work fine with standard clusters in it? Does the fault only occur when you fit the adapters? If the latter, then find the live wires for both functions, cut and rejoin to the opposite wire. This should give you correct lamp operations. Don't take this for gospel, as its not crystal clear in the video. But if what I've said sounds right with what's happening, I'd give that a go 

I'm also assuming in the video, the lamp on the left is the original, and the lamp on the right is the 9N3 cluster? I'm not well versed with the two, I don't own either haha
