Hi all,

 

I'm looking for the torque wrench settings in Nm units (if possible) for the following bolts. These are located on the engine bottom end. The engine codename is MH (which is similar to 2G/AAV but with a carburetor). I'm not sure of the "English" naming of these parts so forgive me for not giving you their names (seems to be "sealing flange"). Feel free to provide their names if you can 🙂

I've had a look through all my books and not found anything. Let me know if you still need these and I'll start trawling through the microfiche. 

Yes I'll still need these but I can wait since I cleaning the engine parts right now. I won't assemble the engine before 3 or more days from now. I believe some people won't bother to tighten these bolts at a specific torque but if there's any torque specs then I'd rather use them. What's the "microfiche" btw ?

Looking at the manual for an early 6N engine the same bolts are 10Nm and I can't see any reason why the earlier engine would be any different.

 

For reference the cover at the flywheel end is named Sealing flange with oil seal  and the other one  Sealing flange/oil pump

A sheet of plastic with pages and pages of information printed on really, really small. You view it through a machine that uses a magnifying lens to project it onto a screen. I have a set of the dealership workshop manuals that came on microfiche in the 80's. Everything you could ever want to know is on there, but it takes a lot of time to find.
