Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice on what’s best to do next I’m facing a amber engine warning light on my VW MK5 2011 Polo 1.2litre petrol and I’m currently trying to figure the issue.

I’ve connected a obd2 diagnostics tool and I’m getting P0441

Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow.

now I’ve tried replacing the purge breather valve located above the engine cleared the code and I’m saddened by it returning once again.

I’m hoping for advice on what next to do/check.

hope you can help

Dan

Can you hear air pressure/vacuum escaping from the fuel cap when you go to fill up with fuel? If you can, it's probably a blocked tank breather. If you can't, it's probably the purge valve (cheap and easy to change) or a worn fuel cap seal.
