hello

I have a polo 9n3 3 door , just bought it and fixing some of its problems, I'm struggling with the door. its sagging but I don't know how to align it and there's no clear way on the internet to fix the problem, does anyone know how to fix this issue 

and if so could I do it with basic mechanics kit

Honest answer, crack the star drive bolts on the hinge off, slam it shut hard. Give it a minute, open it, look for the witness makes on the hinge. Stick a trolley jack under the door, jack it up to a few mm over the witness marks and crack the bolts up. Repeat as neccessary. 

 

Also, check your sills for rust, but... details
