Polo 6R 1.2 TDI Clutch replacement

Featured Replies

Hello, I am looking at a clutch replacement for a Polo 6R 1.2 TDI.

I have noticed the VW manual states to use engine support 3300 A and forcing plate T10413 in order to remove the gearbox.

Does anyone know if these are required or if I could do without them? I believe this is to push against the sub-frame and potentially create more space.

Look forward to someone who has probably done one of these.

Many thanks.

I have managed to find out that it may not be required as it relates to the gearbox support in order to remove it. Gearbox needs to be rotated in order to remove over subframe.

Does anyone know if the 1.2 Tdi CWFA engine requires a dual mass flywheel?
