Non starter.

Had my Polo in garage dry stored for a couple of years not used but always turned over to keep it moving.  Battery ran down and ran out of fuel at the same time. Charged battery and put fuel in but the pump has not primed and so it won’t start. Checked the fuse, tapped the pump but no joy. Any suggestions please?

test light or meter...check for 12v at the fuse , at the 4 pin pump relay , does the relay click when key on , is there 12 v present at both pumps

Stick a new fuse in and check the terminals it sits in, even though they look ok, they can suffer from corrosion. 

Looks like the fuel pump has stopped working. I have a replacement genuine vw but the connectors have been cut off as seen in the photograph. The one on the car is a generic which requires a different terminal connection. Any suggestions please on where I can get replacement terminals for the ones in the photo?

Can’t put a phot on from my iPad! Forgotten how. Getting too old for this. Any help please?
