Polo 6N2,  2000 year,  The usual lights-on buzzer has failed and I am told cannot be replaced.  I want to fit a simple piezo-electric buzzer between a live lead to the lights and a door switch earth.  Can anyone define where in the electrical wiring loom I should look for these two points ?

Can't help with the wiring diagram, but I fitted one of these to a Mk2 Polo after a few too many set off in darkness, arrive in daylight, flat battery commuter days.

Dash light illumination and interior lighting feed is usually grey-blue... 

It is on Mk2 Polo and T25 van and 6n 2000 to 2002

 

Here's a diagram. It's on a dimmer, which could work as a buzzer volume control!

 

 

Also pin21 of 6N instrument cluster is driver's door switch (Black wire).
