p321 G28 sensor alarm after replacement

Featured Replies

When I bought the car it had the  P0226 Implausible signal from the pedal position sensor. After alot of time and parts, I end up taking the ecu and finding some missing grounds, finding shorts and fixing the error. I was very happy. I went for a spin and decide to give some gas to my little 1000cc engine and for my surprise another EPC error pops up at around 3 thousand rpm. The p321 crankshaft error. I replace the crankshaft position sensor and was very confident my polo would be running fine now. Made some pulls and no error at the 3 thousands rpm range, so I decide to give it some more and sure enough at around 4300 rpms, it appears again. I felt crushed.

So my question is could it be problem of the camshaft sensor? I read at ross tech that they correlate with also the speed sensor, which by the way I also replaced.

Could it be the ecu again?

I have test alot of wiring to ecu on the fist problem, I have not tested wiring from g28 to ecu but I doubt It could be at fault wiring seems fine.

Thanks in advance

I tested the cam sensor and it appears to be faulty. Sometimes it gets a stuck reading and stops responding. I've ordered a new one and hope to see the issue fixed
