MK2F Breadvan wide wheel setup.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've found a set of alleycats for sale and wondered if anyone had any experience fitting them to a 2F breadvan as I know the arches can be quite temperamental.

The wheels are 13x7 et30 and 13x6 et38.

Would these fit without rolling my rear arches?

Thanks guys!

13 x 6 et38 should fit okay on the rears depending on height. My speedlines are 14 x 6 et38 with 155/55/14 tyres and are fine until I've got weight in the rear or going over uneven road surfaces but that's more down to the coilovers being soft.

I've got completely standard arches too.

Ah ok thanks for your reply that's a great help.

I've found some 14 x 5.5 et38 so I think these should be fine based on what you've said. I will just try and get the skinniest tyre I can find.

I'm having my gas shocks put in on Monday so hopefully that'll stiffen the car up enough to avoid any rubbing as I want to avoid changing the arches at all costs!
