Hi what is the tightening torque for main centre hub nut and 6 bolts for the driveshaft flange at the gearbox end? Car is 6n2 1.4 tdi. Thanks

 

I think inner driveshaft splinebolts need 40 to 50Nm and a half turn.

Someone to help stand on the brakes or a screwdriver in vented disc at caliper to stop wheel turning.

 

When I was recovered once with a loose nearside driveshaft in mk2  Polo the mechanic explained they needed  to be done up 'F' tight.

The app I use has got 

 

Hubnut (renew) 200Nm, slacken, 50Nm, +45 degrees

 

If it's M8 driveshaft bolts, it says new bolts and 40Nm, bit of a sceptic on that, I'd just go as tight as I can with a half inch ratchet.
