Hey everyone.. hopefully can get some help here.

Polo 6n 1998 1.0 petrol just failed test on emmisions C0 up at 7 should be 0.4.

Been sat a while so put half a tank of clean gas, fuel additive and took for an Italian tune up.

Had previously done a wee service new air filter, and oils.  Had a new cat and exhaust last year.

Thinking lambda sensor? but one on the motor looks brand new, but guessing looks can be deceiving.  

Any other ideas ?

Air metering fault would be my guess. Does it have a MAF sensor?
