Hello,

Clearing out my flat today i've found a bunch of parts for my, now long departed, 1989 Breadvan. It was my first car, it was most definitely the odd one out, yet despite buying it only for that boxy bod, flat grill and round lamps - equipped with roof rack, surf board and 13" rollers. Well, all the girls i was incapable of talking to were, shockingly to me, very interested in it..

Now 30, as we all know - those gals were actually interested in any person with passion for something different!

I loved my Roody, it taught me much, and that could not have been possible without this forum and the wealth of knowledge shared my way. So thank you - covered in mud, in a cobbled alleyway, in Newcastle in November and passing its mot (maybe) because they felt sorry for me - Could not have been possible without this forum! that polo brought so much joy to me and my pals.

Ive moved onto a very similar looking 1987 E30, but if Im ever lucky enough to have a double garage - im heading straight for a mk2 bready to occupy the second spot. (keep it warm at least ;) )

I found the following parts - pics attached. Free to anyone that will put them to use. Collection from Manchester M145LR, dm for my number.

1 x drum

2 x thrust bearings for said.

2 x shaft boot kits

1 x 4l 10W-40    I assume is worthy of a .98

Nothing inspires engineers more than forums like this,

Nice one,

George

Hi George

I'll gladly take the parts off you if they are still on offer?  I live very close to you in Heaton Chapel SK4.
