Hi VW peoples,

I am new to this forum and would very much appreciate your help. i am not a mechanic but love and cost wise love to fix my own car when possible. The problem i am having is locating the post cat lambda sensor on my 58plate bluemotion 1.4tdi polo 9n3 vin no. is WVWZZZ9NZ9Y042986. I have searched the forums trying to find a video/diagram/thread on where this sensor is but there is nothing out there.

Does this car have a post cat o2 sensor?

I have searched the length of the exhaust from the cat to the back and cannot find it!

I have located the pre cat one and the 3 EGT sensors, but not the post cat Lambda (HO2S2)

Please correct me if i am wrong but is this not one of the last polo bluemotion without a DPF? so it would have less sensors/less trouble imo

If anyone has any idea or diagram/video/location of this sensor on this specific model i would greatly appreciate it

Only one lambda sensor that I can see.

Why are you trying to locate it? Fault code from some reader? If so which device? 

 

I think what you are calling the cat is probably a combined CAT/DPF, part number 6Q0254700DX. Compare google image results for that number with what you see in the car.
