Bought this in August. Previous owner had already begun some mods.

After a few years away from the car scene due to work and a young family it's back to my hobby. 

 

Plans for the new year include, blue motion front grill but I'm going to remove the badge and see if I can stretch the profile of the grill across the full thing, new poly bushes all round, under car rust treatment and prevention, potential full respray and interior bits and bobs such as new head unit and roof lining. 

Custom backbox exhaust fitted to the car but with a standard tailpipe. Either contemplating a new backbox or just a tailpipe extension. Car sounds good but not 18 year old Corsa boy racer loud. Ideally would like a bit more burble and roar to it.

Headlight brows off of eBay but the more weeks go by the more I kind of dislike them so on the hunt for some GTI headlights as I want the blackout theme to continue throughout the car.

Wheels refurbed in November by Cleveland Powder Coat and Shot Blasting in Billingham. Nearly £100 cheaper than other local companies and a 24 hour turnaround with the work too. 

Would thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone looking for wheel refurb. They work with the body shop next door to colour match any centre cap work that needs doing too which is a massive bonus. 

 

Wheels finished in matte black as every man and his dog round here has gloss black or diamond cut alloys 🤣

New registration plate bulbs fitted. Well full light units really. Came as one piece. Very impressed with the clarity and brightness. Didn't end up having to take the back bumper off either. 

 

Blue motion grill getting picked up tomorrow. Will just need to clean it down and paint it up. 

Apologies for the poor picture quality but blue motion grill fitted today. Proper ball ache as the new grill didn't have the correct plugs to screw the screws into. Had to get some little clamps. 

 

Wait for the weather to clean up and give the car a good valet and clay bar.
