I've got a 93 mk2f running an ABD, it's on original clocks. I've found a set of clocks with a rev counter from a 93 1.0 aau. Any reason these wouldn't be a straight swap?

Should be fine.

Rev counter from red/black wire on ignition coil.

Speedo drive from gearbox.

Edge connector is physically the same.

 

Would need to consult a wiring diagram to check if there any more sensors than on a 1.0, but if so it'd be something unimportant like washer fluid low(?) or handbrake on.
