If you go to a Post Office, your V5C (logbook), MOT certificate, insurance certificate and cash, a cheque or a debit card will do nicely. They'll give you a V10 to apply.

Or you can now do it online as the VOSA database has the MOT details computerised and will crosscheck for this and insurance.
