Camshaft Locking Tool T10075

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! Help from the global community of VAG owners is greatly needed
Not long ago I assembled an AVY on an AHW block (which is of course not correct, but it seems to work), but I set the camshaft at random, since I couldn’t find the t10075 tool in my country. :-( There is a problem now, probably related to incorrect installation of the camshaft. If someone has the opportunity to make a drawing of the t10075 tool so that I can make it, I will be very grateful.
P/S I apologize for possible mistakes in the text, my English is not very good

I can't find a proper diagram, but Laser Tools part number 8140 seems to come up as compatible and there's a lot of pictures of it online

Yes, I found different photos. But this does not provide sufficient accuracy when making. All photos found on the Internet are not quite suitable. If I do not find anything, then of course I will rely on photos.

Maybe you can zoom on the laser tools link from yeti and get the angles right of slot, pin and holes

or this one ?

Laser Tools 8140 Camshaft Locking Tool for VW Group 1.6 FSi

I have already contacted the manufacturer and they do not provide additional photos. And the photos that are available are not very accurate. image.thumb.png.e80b5e53e6fd39b8e5fabb62f36693f8.png

Though I suppose AVY is 2 camshafts with different timings, so you need the cam specs...
