These sales don’t come around very often and this is one you won’t want to miss. Car plus a huge store of parts both new and used. I’m reluctantly parting with my pride and joy as old age has caught up with me and working on the car is not the buzz that it used to be.

My 1991 coupe GT with 111000 odd miles on the clock. Acquired in 2007 and garaged all its time with me. At present SORN for the last 12 years but still runs well. My aim is to keep in as original condition as possible and only using VW or Febi parts. A full list of 61 parts changed during ownership and spares including 11 new not on the car yet. Used spares VW taken from 1994 GT are in total 60.

Hi there, lovely looking polo. Could you give me any more info such as pictures, any bad bits like rust etc. List of spare parts you have. Anything that might need doing? I'm almost 3 hours away in Weston Super Mare so wanted to find out as much as I can first.

Thanks for the reply.

Some minor issues like sump seal leak and gear selector shaft seal leaking. One small patch of rust on the off side front wheel arch. Will sort out some photographs.

However, I don’t know how to send my list on the word document. I’ll have to work out how to do it. Hope this works.

Had the car valeted today. Looking less like a barn find. Short video attached. Good polish and the black stuff treated and we’re good to go. Apparently the videos are too big. Message me if you’re interested.

Got the winter wheels on. Just finished valet.

I’ve done a reportify check for the car, if anyone is interested let me know and I’ll send it across.

The car now has an MOT with a few minor advisories. Also passed the emissions although I know it’s not mandatory anymore.

Original wheels with a variety of centre caps possible.

Can take off the cost of correcting the advisories for a serious offer?
