Hi Guys,

I've got a mk2f coupe 1992 and its MOT is due however, tail lights, rear fog lamp and number plate lights aren't working.

The heated screen light doesn't come on the dash nor does the fog light switch.

Finally, the headlight switch illuminates in side light position however full beam works but doesn't illuminate the switch.

Reverse light and brake light work however I have just bought this car and I have no idea where to start. I've checked fuses according to HAYNES manual but am by no means an auto electrician.

Any help would be greatly received!

You need to figure out what might have happened prior to it going wrong. Have you just bought the car, have you just had it in at the menders for something, have you lent it to someone? The cause needs to be narrowed down as much as possible. The symptoms don't really lead anywhere in particular to my mind, more details are needed.
