Wheels and Tyres 2005 onward: RSL Cult (7*14 ET25 front, 8*14 ET20 rear).

Exterior Styling: Plastic mouldings removed, clear front indicators, clear side-repeaters, De-badged grille, 'Fox' spec wheel arch spats, tinted rear indicators (not late-spec), rolled arches, late-spec polo boot emblem.

Interior Styling: Mountney steering wheel, Coupe S black/red seats, 'Genesis' rev counter clocks, black door cards, carpet and parcel shelf, racing gearknob, leather gear stick gaiter, custom door pods.

ICE and Security: Kenwood 5080R head unit, Boston FS60 component speakers, locks on the doors!

The only car I liked more than this one when I joined was Alex's Grey GT (now G40). Still looks great on RSL's. Shame it got bumped by that idiot, was such a simple yet effective looking car!

Looking back now, as nice as the RSLs were I kinda like the pics where I had the motorsport stylee wheels on. They were just a nice design and I put them on before I knew about euro style and all this other stuff. If you know what I mean they were my choice without influence from a scene or going to shows.

Yeah, no doubting the 15s look good. But I've always had a thing for RSL's..

was there any smoothing required when taking off the side mouldings??? cus i wanna take mine off but I'm not sure whats underneath them...

No smoothing required. Just prise off the side mouldings then get rid of the glue with a bit of heat and or spirit.

Don't know kenny. They look similar to some wheels that PhilJ had on his green parade/GT

They actually look like the wheels Rolo had on his G40 before he started ripping engines out etc.

Rolos were 15" BBS Rolo had. I could be wrong but they don't look like BBS to me

15s lookin mahoosive on the mk3 there.

gettin the same set up as you had. i think so anyway.

lowered -70mm with 15 x 6.5.

not too sure on the offset of my wheels but wild guessing it'll be round the same.

Putting 15s on your Polo will not be that much work.

You will definitely need to roll the arches. You can get bodyshops/garages to do this as I have done in the past. They use a machine and charge you between £50 and £100 per pair.

I worked out that it is a very simple job and did it myself using a heat gun and a soft faced hammer. Heating up the arch with a heat gun and slowly folding the lip upwards with the hammer will do the same job and won't crack the paint. If you're not confident though i'd say pay the money at a garage

Anyway, after your arches are rolled (make sure you go all the way round on the rear arches even underneath the black plastic bit infront of the rear bumper) you should be able to drive the car as before even with 5 people in it.

U mentioned in the spec it had a Poloace ECU chip. Where can i get one of these? are they cheap? or do u still have the ecu from this polo chris?

I have one and I would like to know how you increased the BHPs...

This car is dead sweimmer. Dont think cris owns a polo now.

Swimmer, I'm a bit confused by your request; it says in the description how I "increased the BHPs" and there are already photos there for you to see. It was never a 1.0l anyway.

The car was written off in 2005 also.
