Just out of curiosity i thought i'd see how much it was to insure a near standard G40

Did it for a 1992 CL G40 i had seen in the trader

Also fitted with Toad alarm and imobiliser

mine is 800 quid on a 1.0 polo :( with mods third party.

i dont have a years no claims though and I'm only 19

i nearly fell off my chair when i got my quote from Adrian Flux.

1991 G40

20 years old

2 year NCB

1 accident in 2004

mods include.

chipped and pullied

induction kit

straight through exhaust

four branch manifold

lowered

alloy wheels

carbon bonnet

no rear seats (which is aparently a mod)

£635 TPFT

so i promptly snatched there arm off!

Highway are a shite insurance company - that's why they are the cheapest.

They screwed me over a few years back.

See if you can get a decent quote with a different underwriter.
