The story

I got this car 2 years ago, its my first and only so far. Being in the motor trade i had worked on a few and had decided i had to have one. So i passed my test and started the search, it took a couple of months but eventually this one popped up for £600 with 77k on the clock i was well happy, i was put off at first after being told it was a 1.0 but decided to go for it anyway. After some heafty insurance quotes i later discovered it was a 1.3 :-D. So having a bodyshop at work i treated it to a mop and it came up like new (well ish), eventually the free interior was added (bonus) and the skirts and arches were sourced off ebay for £30. I then aquired the wheels off a mate for pennies and added the lovely stretched tyres, after some saving the suspension kit was added and the rest as they say is history.

Future mods

  • Full jetex system ( v soon hopefully).
  • Decat pipe.
  • GTi 22mm master cylinder.
  • Braided hoses with dot 5.1 fluid.
  • Dutch style plates when points allow (long story).

Then I'm going to sit and bide my time untill i can insure and buy a G40, perferably my mates (adeG40).
