Right, so I'm coming back from Leeds festival at about 3am, I already got pulled (routine check) and everything was ok.

It was pissing it down, as I approached the traffic lights it was green, but as I was about 5ft in front of the line it changed to amber, it was a 40 zone and I was doing about 30 because of the conditions, I saw the light change but there was no way I was gonna stop, and if I did I would have to done an emergency stop, but I surely would have locked and skidded, and I had a lot of stuff in the back which would have been flung forwards...

So, I went through and a bastard traffic light camera flashed me, it came through a few days ago and I really think it is unfair that I should have to pay it, fair enough I dont mind paying for my mistakes, if a copper saw me do this I'm pretty sure he wouldnt have fined me/give me points

Anyone got any advice? I also cant find what the penalties are for going through a red...

I was actually taught if your too close to stop at the lights...i.e its dangerous then keep going...i failed my 1st test 4 it but i was in the right as if i had stopped it wuda meant stopping on a keep clear and being rear ended! Appeal it you hae good reason for going through
