Me and Tracey were talking about this yesterday, the number of Mk3's was huge compared to all the other Mk's of Polo's

I remember last year there were more Mk4's than any other Mk but this year was Mk3 year

There did seem to be loads of them this year, particularly on the Saturday before a lot of people arrived for the show and shine on the Sunday. I thought Mark2 attendance was up a little on last year too.

yeah there were loads of mk3's! was good tho, first time I've seen a GT/G40 eye to eye! Not many mk5's :( except for all the nice GTI's that came sunday

Nothing like a raft of Mk3's! Loved it. Good selection of other mk's as well...nice to see a good selection of the mk1's as well.

mk4s suck compared with the mk3! i should know, I've got one of each! mk4s are refined but lack the charm of a mk3. mk4 probably look better but they dont drive as well.

There was about 4 or 5 mk1's?

I mean what do you expect .... it's hardly the most common mk of polo!

ahh but didnt the mk3's have the most breakdowns too, with one needing another coil, another needing another distributor and another going back on a tow truck.

They seem to be getting more common as modified cars now, probably because there's more stuff available off the shelf.

There were quite a few mk2s as well, definately more than last year!
