hi just to let you know i totaly agree with your desision to have 6x9s in the back i also have jbl components it the front and before i instaled my 6x9s i was going to jst keep all bass in the back but i couldnt get used to it it sounded terible like there was a major inballence as soon as i installed me 6x9s i was buzin it was perfection to me ears........who cares what others think your drivin your motor not them each to there own i say power to the 6x9s ha ha"""""""""""""

i wish it had been bought for me, but it wis with my own cash an cash that i got from sellin my old scorpion dtm for £100!!! its far quieter than the scorpion but it still has a nice sound with it too! there is a slight improvement in the throttle responce, barely noticable though as my polo is only a 1.3!! but il get round to a engine conversion eventually!!!

and my debadged grill came today but it isnt weather to be out working with it so i'll get that done tomorow!

yeah well the cruising up here has died a sad death anyway! and there are very little VeeDubers in shetland! most young people are into their saxos and crap like that!!! there is only 3 modded polo's in shetland that i know of!! still, more than made up for by the absolute lunacy of my uncle who has a 2.1 turbo mk2 golf!! lol what a source of inspiration he is!!! :-D

nah, wouldnt have been me!!! haha i live up in the shetland isles!!! damnd middle of the north sea/atlantic ocean, so as you can imagine rust can be quite a biggy up here!!!

new update, finally gotten her into the garage to get her ready for an MOT after a year of it not being on the road!!! ready for the summer! cant beat summer cruising!

Mate your system must be fuckin loud. I'm running a infinity REF-7541A - 4-channel. With some alpine spr components. And a JL audio W1 sub, and i think my system is bangin...

All my mirrors and windows shake like hell.... i couldnt put up with anymore bass lol

yeah, i sometimes have to remove the interior rear view mirror because it rattles so much!

I've had too renew all of the outside mirror setup because the old ones rattled too much, and because of the rattling the driverside mirror glass actually cracked into 2 pieces!

thats about £900 worth when new of stereo equipment! :-D well happy with it, but still considering going for the new 3000watt (peak) 1500 watt rms!!! Pioneer SPL level subs!

and i've just bought a set of JBL tweeters and crossovers tonight for the front! replace the standard ones!

Can you replace the standard speakers at the front on the dash on mk4's?....
