This car was a bit of a barn find it was sat in a drive way near my girlfriends house for about 6 years and it never moved after posting about a million letters through the door they finally decided to give it up! it was pretty rough when i first got it ,coverd in moss an stuff but nothing a little t-cut and a bit of hard work couldnt sort!

The best thing about this project is it has cost me less than a grand so far! so it just goes to prove you dont need big bucks to build a car your happy with!

This is what it looked like when i first picked it up

Got any close up pics? Did the stuff actually fit in the original groove or did you stick it over the original stuff?

no it didnt have any to start with so its literally just stuck to the rubber, works really well tho i dont think ud know it wasnt original by looking at it.

It's the standard '81-'84 saloon front end.

my saloon is a B reg (1984) 1 oap owner so not had any mods and has the round single lights.

depends on the chassis number, you can get some B reg's (particularly GL models and formel Es) with the Square headlights still.
