going to agree with cal there like, when i was 17 with no pass plus or any advanced driving on a 1.4cl i was paying £1200 with quinn direct.

of course it does also depend on your post code aswell, if you live in a shite area your premium will be sky high.

I'm now 18 with 1 years No claims I'm paying £750ish on the same car.

Area is the biggest killer, not age.

When I was 18, 0 ncb, 1.0L Polo Fox was £1,300 TPFT with pass plus. Fully comp was £2000ish!!
