flat bed recovery

Featured Replies

yeah I'm just about to order some new tyres fitted to the teledials.once they are fitted, I've got to get the car upto stealth racing to sort my camber out etc.trouble is i dont want to drive the car up there because it will ruin my new tyres plus its hard work to drive at the moment.reason why I'm going all the way to stealth is because after the camber has been sorted, its going to southam bodies for a respray which is around the corner form stealth! now does anybody know of a company that deals with those massive flat bed lorry's?

i know there is like only 2 in the country, basically the trailer comes down 'flat' to the ground so the car can just be driven on.its designed for very low cars.

websites, numbers would be appeciated.

thanks

try Kettering Vechicle Services, they towed me back from polo show and i had no problems getting on the trailer, he said he'd had no problems with any car ever, the beds come out the back of the van and are the height of a lowered kerb to get onto.

Yoof

Do you mean a tilt and slide body?

oh yoof how much did he charge you and how far is the polo show to your house?

I can't see how it differs to a normal tilt and slide body?

My local garage has 2 or 3 of them!

when i got towed once it was on the AA vans, they just put the front wheels on the rack thingy and towed me, would be fun round near me to get on the back of a recovery truck

if its going for a respray anyway, why dont you just take the bumper off?

If it's anything like my car, the front bumper is the least of the problems

yeah mines not lowered too much yet when i got my car recovered they had to put wooden slats under the back front and back wheels to left it up and under where the sideskirts are as it would have majorly scraped all along the bottom! i couldnt watch when they were doing it! :paranoid:
