my insurance is only £300 odd but i'm heading towards 27 so i'd expect it to go down! My first car (mk2 polo squareback) insurance was over £800 so i know where soem of you are coming from!

My mate did a quote just to see if he could get insured on his cousins classic ferrari! 4.4l V8.

£102,000 !!!!!!

hmm i'm 17 with no ncb and live in a very low crime area, car is garaged (actually is) and kept in a secure work car park. no mods, my own policy (1.0 mk3 hatch) £780. the quotes some people my age are getting are ridiculous lol £2500!? i could insure my v8 landrover and my 4.2 jag for that!

Fuck me but if you've got enough money for a brand new car and all that shit then £3k isn't gonna worry you is it!

Its pure statistics what makes our insurance insane

The problem is both men and women crash cars but women tend to hit a sign or something in a car park but wen a bloke hits something its usually a bigger deal

Now past the teen years it gets a bit nicer ;) still takes the piss when ure mates sister who past her test yesterday gets lower quotes than you.

I'm 17, 0ncb, live in a low risk postcode and on a J' reg 1043cc coupe the cheapest qoutes i have had is

about a grand wihich is with a 30% discount cause of my bike (£174 a year) they wont give me that till may

most other qoutes I've had range from £1350-3000

TIPS

where you live is a 'THE BIGGEST' one so if you live with your gran for the week you take out the insurance.... wink wink

is it in a garage?! (do you lie) up to you!

miles you drive..... um... less then 1k (how are they gona no)

Job is for some reason is a MASSIVE one

do you lie, up to you

end of the day if you drink and drive, smoke, answer phone etc and cash your insurance is pointless

oh i pay £300 for a gt, o ncb

try herts !!! ( hic)

www.moneysupermarket.com

put me in contact with Lancaster Insurance

https://secure.lancaster-ins.co.uk/cgi-bin/...t?origin=MONEYS

who just covered my Polo C Mk2 for £118.16 fully comp with 0ncb include breakdown and legal cover for myself plus named.

This was using their Classic car cover so if the motor is over 20yrs old - give that root a try.

Small print on the policy is the excess is £250 and I don't earn any NCB during the insurance period.

Beats my renewal cost of £200.55

i pay £774 tpft, on a mk6 1.4 polo twist.

i'm 20, 2years ncb with a dr10 and a no fault accident.

not bad reli

yeah i had to pay around that much as well but because i passed my test after i was 18 it went down to 1500. yours should go down when you reach that age

Insurance is a nightmare!!

You think thats bad..I have not long been 17 and have a polo 6n2 1.4 16v and paid..wait for it.....

£2200!!!!!

Thats with Direct Line.

And I'm 17 and passed 1 month ago.
