well to cut a long story short our garage went up in flames this morning but luckily i got my polo out but as i reversed it out with the adrenalin pumping i put a fu*kin great gouge mark down the side i was still half in the garage at this point so i wondered if the house insurance will cover it as I'm sure the insurance companie would rather pay for a few doors than a whole car i also got melted plastic on the roof bonnet and window

only real way to find out would be to phone your insurance company. I wouldn't count on the house contents covering it though. you might have to claim on your car insurance, even if you've only got 3rd party, fire and theft - surely this counts as fire!
