just two questions concerning MOT.

1. Do i need a rear wiper?

2. Do i need rear seats/seatbelts?

My kit car normally gets MOT'd with 2 seats and 6 belts.

No

You only need rear seat belts if you got rear seats. Otherwise it doesnt matter.

Rear wiper shouldn't matter. Alot of cars don't even have them! Saloon cars etc.

the only other thing i was worried about is how much life are left in my brake pads, cos i haven't got round to fitting my g40 brake setup yet.

i was looking at the mot check's link in the faq's and it says brake pads must be at least 1.5mm thick. That sounds damn thin to me, i wouldn't let mine get anywhere near that. Can that really be right or have i miss-understood?

That's 1.5mm of friction material.

Really, really, do not let them get that low.
