funny you should say that about the grill, i bought a slatted badgeless one and tried it but it looked a bit gash so i left the kamei on and sold the other grill

interior is lovely, how difficult is that to fit?

front seats were a straight swap, rears took a bit more effort - swapping of backings for the backrests and removing of brackets on the bases

did you notice much difference in the power with the engine mods? manifold etc.?

and do you know if there is any difference between the mk3 golf vr6 normal seats and the vr6 recaro front seats? like the bolsters?

yes there is a huge difference between standard vr6 front seats and vr6 recaros. the standard vr6 seats are vw's attempt at sport seats, so yeah a bit more supportive but recaros are a different shape altogether with slimmer back and larger bolsters and more padding, this gives more compfort and better support

there is quite a difference over standard with the engine mods, the car revs alot better and much sharper throttle response. it's obviously still not fast but does make it alot more fun to drive

nice ride mate, how muuch did you wheel arches cost you??

about 500, took the bodyshop adges to get them perfected!!! also they had to paint both sides of the car for a colour match as the car is a VW perlescent paint and quite difficult to colour match

car is going to be up for sale in April, just paid a hefty deposit on an EK9 civic type R the other day.

going to be sad to see it go but hopefully someone will enjoy the polo and appreciate it as much as i have!!

I didn't really have any more plans for the car anyway, love the way it looks now, just think it's time to move on, always loved civics too and the EK9 is my favourite of them all!!!

been thinking about that, i think that £3000 would be a fair price, as well as the spec above there is the following

-59k miles

-i am the third owner of the car, owned in since February 2004, well should really be the second but when we bought the car they put my mums name on the documents so we had to change the owner again making me te 3rd)

-full VW service history from new with service every year

-last owner had a new gearbox and clutch fitted at 40k miles so gearchange and clutch are silky smooth

-new lambda probe 5k miles ago

-new discs and pads 5k miles ago

-new brake shoes and one rear brake cylinder 500 miles ago

-brake fluid flushed through and bled twice last year

-new thermostat/housing/coolant 8k miles ago

-new catalytic convertor 5k miles ago

-tyres only covered about 6k with loads of tread left

-recaro interior is MINT, couldn't believe how good they were when they arrived after buying them!!!

-alloys still look like new

the whole car is very clean throughout, paintwork is extremely good as i usually wax it once a week and clean it a couple times a week, i'm really picky about my car so any small trim bits that were missing etc i replaced with genuine parts etc.
