I have the same problem and got as far as taking the door card off but can anybody tell me how to get the speaker off?

I can't see any bolts/screws on either side of the speaker and I tried using an allen key in the holes but I can't figure it out?

Installing

Notet It is essential that all swarf be removed from the door because otherwise corrosion damage will occur.

t Immediately rectify any damage to paintwork caused when drilling out rivets.

– Secure new loudspeaker with commercially available pop rivets of suitable length and diameter.

– Do not forget the rubber ring between trim and loudspeaker when reinstalling the door trim.

Hey there,

I want to change the factory speakers I have in the front doors in my 9n to after market speakers. As I took off the door card I noticed the factory speakers have been riveted in. How do I remove them and install the after market speakers? What exactly do I have to do?

Thank you
