Hi, I'm looking to get my G/F some decent speakers for her mk6 polo, Only problem is, I have no idea what size they are without getting in there and having a look, which sort of gives it away a bit, Thanks for any help

16.5cm and they're a bitch to replace. If she has the standard beta/gamma? headunit then i'd upgrade that before new speakers, the gains will be alot more noticable.

just in the process of doing mine.. its not easy, cut my hands a bit but http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk do spacers which screw in where you take the rivets out.. (you will need to put the metal clips you get with the speakers inside the panel of the door) then the speakers screw into the front of the spacer.. thats forgetting the wiring...

you wont regret doing it though!!

its not a bitch to swap speakers at all. if you need a hand gimmie a shout

/\ taking the door card off, mashing up the old speaker/drilling out rivets, fitting new collar etc, i'd consider it a bitch, in comparison to somthing like a mk4!!

So is that 16.5 front and back? because I'm considering changing mine aswell iv got upgraded VW speakers but to be honest it wasnt worth the upgrade so this time I'm gonna do it properly is it really that hard?
