Model: Polo Coupe S

Engine: 1272cc HK At 109k fitted with a K&N carb top Induction Kit.

Suspension: 40/40 just on springs.

Brakes: Standard

Wheels and Tyres: Standard Hockenheims running on 165/65/13 Soon will be some ATS classics.

Exterior Styling: Standard Coupe S Fitted With A Single Lamp grille with a black badge, smoked indicators and Clear Taillights,I have also taken off the rubber bump strips as they do Sod all!!! and a golf mk1 front splitter.

Interior Styling: Standard Coupe S Dark

ICE and Security: JVC KD-G511 security yes :nod:

Service's and new bits:

(105800miles 10/03/07 fuel filter air filter and oil and filter change.)

(107421miles 30/04/07 Did a mini service today all new plugs and leads then stripped down and cleaned up the carb.)

(108344miles 16/05/07 New Rotor arm and distributor cap.)

(108695miles 22/05/07 New fuel pump.)

(108787miles 31/05/07 Sump refitted and sealed and a oil change as it was all drained out :p .)

(109820miles 16/06/07 New battery and a newer alternator from a mk3 GT.)

(110233miles 22/06/07 New Clutch Kit and i had the crankshaft near oil seal done at the same time just to be safe)

Comments: When i got her she was a none runner @ 104500miles well it started put and ran when it was cold but as soon as she warmed up she would cut out i got the car for a far price as it would not run when it was warm. I got her home and started to try and fined out why she was cutting out at this point she was losing alot of water when started things were looking bad.

Then i seen that the water pipe that goes in to the carb for the auto choke was spit and thats were the water was going from i changed the pipe using parts from my old mk2 then got a friend to set up the carb and also do the timing as that was also well out things were looking good then fitted a Single Lamp grille clear taillights and smoked indicators at the front then i got rid of the bump strips and lower her by 4cm.

I then fitted a bolt on k&n and i am now saving up to have a mk3 GT engine rebuilt and put in please let me know was you think.
