i think you are insured on the courtesy car the same as your policy so you will have the same excess and such

so if you 3rd party i think you would have to pay to fix it

It depends.

If you use a courtesy car from Audi, they "insure" you and any damage that is done to the car whilst it is in your property is then given a £500 excess. Not all the dealers do this, but some do.

Had an argument once when they tried to put some wheel curbing on us whilst they repaired the TT that THEY damaged, Audi are bastards!

most courtesy places i've used put the car on my insurance 3rd party.

so if you crash it or damage it you have to pay, cant even claim off your own insurance because it's only 3rd party. it'll be in the small print

Pays to check the small print before you accept the car. My old VW dealer had a £350 excess on their fully comp insurance.
