dose it check if you have an MOT or INSUREANCE on it?

i got myself another polo, i want to keep it infront of my house ( if i cant get it to store it ) so it wont have MOT or insurance but i need to tax it?

I think it asks you if you have the new type of electronic MOT (searches the database for it) or the old type - where you type in the document numbers. Not sure about insurance.

Not really sure of the legality of storing a car on the public highway with no MOT/insurance either to be honest...
