well as it says getting these parts but not too sure on were to put them if you have any pics of them on your g40 that could give me an idea were to put them many thanx

this might not be the best image, as you probably dont have the AWT kit. But its still relevantish. The red box is where I currently have my oil cooler, so as long as you have lost the standard IC then there is room where it used to be. When I was running the standard setup the oil cooler was where the blue box is, in front of the radiator on a couple of L brackets bolted to the bottom crossmember. The pipes for it came down in front of the radiator, coming through holes cut in the radiator shrouding at the left hand side (looking at the front of the car).

Hope that is of some inspiration.

13row by 115mm should be enough the surface area wont be much different to my 16 row one. my catch tank is kind of lying on it's back on top of the driver's side inner wing. I don't have a pic of it at the moment as I've given it to a man with a tig welder to bung some of the holes in it I don't need.

I've been thinking about this lately and the problem I'm having is trying to find somewhere that would provide a healthy flow of air over the cooler, without cutting holes!

yep i was thinking under the bumper and take one of the fogs out but it would look stupid like me lol right i'll be getting the 13 row mocal needs it i think

I'm doing what Hayesey has done. I think Andy uses a similar setup to.

I've got this to come, I've just sourced a matrix for free so I'm hoping to have an oil cooler on my car at the next oil change. I don't want to lose my foglights, so I think I'll probably put it in front of the radiator where the horn is.

Good idea, but be very weary of kerbs. Punctured one & dumped most of my oil out. Not good..

I'm seriously considering getting an oil cooler like. but again like dan need it to be mounted without cutting stuff. i have standard ic too. how is that one hayesey has fitted? and where does the air come through to reach it?? through holes in the bumper? more info needed if posssible guys

^ Where hayeseys is mounted (if its were i think it is...) is behind the fog light. But because he doesn't have fog lights and just the cut out it will let the air in. So you couldn't run yours there Dan cause of your fog lights.

mmmm i did suspect that actually. any other options then guys? dont want to remove the fog light or owt you see. no wonder it never came out the factory with one lol.
