them rims on road 1 are fucking pimp! m8 had a 1.3 cooper so much fun

lovin those wheeles on the first pic

How much were the wheels in the first pic and were frum

this is my mini and i love it to bits although itsin pieces lol

my project

the first one is very nice indeed, I've got a thing about the 2.0l turbo minis that few people have made, they use the vauxhall engines and I've watched one stay with a 700bhp skyline up the strip!

the wheels i paid 300 quid for the set of 4, they are not new tho, I've not seen any before so you'd be best to ask compomotive but I'm quite sure they dont make them anymore, dont think they made many sets of them atall.

nice project you have there, will be very nice when its finished.

my grey one is awaiting an engine rebuild atm, i kinda thrashed it to death :paranoid:

partially stripped the engine to have a look the other day and it has been rebuilt already so thats a good start

got the mini in the workshop, engine already taken out months ago, so preperation for the turbo lump has begun

shakespeare003.jpg

I'm gonna replace the manifold gasket with a good one and have the head off just to have a look, also i have some roller tipped rockers to go on... the flywheel is being lightened while its off, so just that and the new clutch to go on before i can attempt to put it in the car..

shakespeare002.jpg

lots to do, this is the first time I've turbo'd a car so i'll be taking my time making sure i get it how i want it

more progress, had some problems but getting there

http://forums.cjb.net/nndubz-post-914.html#914

standard is 93bhp in the metro, but thats with the ecu and 7 psi. i dont have the ecu so to start with its only gonna run 4 psi, but I've lightened and balanced the flywheel, it now has a ported and pollished bigger valve head, the air filter will be a cone one with direct air flow, running a 2" exhaust on it, will also run an intercooler when i get it so can up the boost a little then. 100bhp would be nice to start with and we'll see how greedy i get after that

thats hot, love the wheels

My uncle builds mini engines, but usually for autograss... He used to race them a while ago until he had his son.

Loving both your minis, the road ones lovely

EDIT: Mods why hasn't my avatar picture changed? I changed it to a pic of me but all I can see is my car still
