I have always had two minds bout the vent myself. It works though, and I cant be arsed to buy and paint another bonnet. Cos by the time the bonnet is painted the rest of the chuffing car will need doin!

Mirrors may well come off. Am going in a new direction (Read 'Which way to go' in the general Polo chat bit of the forum).

Lots being ordered this week, front TCAs rear axle bushes and adjustable top mounts all form G-laderseite and a GAZ coilie kit. CANT WAIT!!!!!

Will keep you posted.

lovely G, not keen on the vent though, do you ever get pulled for your plates?

Blimey been a while. Right where to start. Suspension all done, gaz coilies are awsome handles very nicely. Green injectors went in and a ported GT inlet manifold.

Went to e38 and was then parked up over the winter. Did my first trackday in may this year at brands. Was great fun.

Went to GTi Inters and managed a 0-60 in 6.45 sec so well chuffed with that.

Went to our teackday at Blyton park and blew the diff to smitherines, had two recovery trucks and a 7 hour journey back!

There is however at turbo kit now sat in my shed, along with a big intercooler. LSD, new box and clutch coming soon. Another winter rebuild methinks..........

So here are some more clearer shots of the intercooler, rads' new location and what is left inside. Off work this week having a car day tomorrow. plan is to finish mounting the rad, relocate the oil cooler and shorten its hoses make a couple off brackets for the intercooler. Might attack the last remaining bit of sound deadening inside and get my seats back in.

Small update. Intercooler finished. Engine and g/box came out and were ready to go back in when I found some cracks on the chassis. Started to weld them up now, and putting a bit of bracing on as well. Will take some more up to date pics tomorrow.

Rad and oil cooler were moved, although may reposition the oiler cooler again.

Thinking to the inner wing on drivers side, better air flow.

Inter cooler pipe work was the mocked up and trial fitted. works a treat. Ninja welder also fabbed up an airflow meter housing on boost pipe.

Then things got a little out of hand. Thought it would be easier to take engine out to replace the gearbox. Glad I did as found a few little horrors
